Help With my Laptop Please!!!

Postby 21again » Sun Oct 17, 2010 12:43 pm

Hi All,
Does anyone know where i can have my personal laptap uploaded with genuine programmes.

My problem was, i bought a laptop in tesco lotus, do not tell you no programmes on it.
Had to take it to Robinsons to get windows installed for 300 baht.Lasted 2 months.

Yesterday went kaput, could not pass first screen, missus took it to Robinsons again 300 baht .
They said virus, but the windows version i have now is crap.
Screen freezes, pop-ups all the time, saying do i want to 'de-bug',
Some 'applications' i cannot get on.
Peed off actually.

Any advise will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

don't forget to install a good virus software. I use Kaspersky and have not had a single problem in 3 years on multiple computers since I started using it.

If you buy Windows 7 you do not need a separate antivirus/fire wall. You can download Security Essentials at no extra cost which is as good as anything on the market plus you get the added bonus of your machine working a bit quicker. ++)(*

Hardware house in Central Plaza is good, they'll be able to install a genuine windows 7 for you.

Agreed, just did this, works great and doesn't seem to slow the machine down unlike other anti virus programs. I suspect the reason this isn't shipped with windows 7 is to stop any anti competitive law suits (similar to what happened with IE).

Remember to completely remove any other virus/firewall software Wetters or you won't get the speed benefit, in fact it will probably slow it down. ++)(*
