all gumments are involved in dodgy dealings thats what diplomacy is all about, saying the nastiest things in the nicest way otherwise everyone would be at war with each other .
exposing their sordid details serves no purpose than to cause endless trouble between countries as we have seen .

Spot on madmalc we do not have a clue what is going on ..... pretty much everybody has a hiden agenda .... the Arab Spring has been an amazing example of that on a multi national scale.

However there is Whistleblowing and there is Whisleblowing .... somethings such as blatent corruption need to be exposed .... other things which have a complex security impact, and may only give a small part of a whole picture need the protection of security.

can't imagine what kind of news coverage he is getting on tv/radio/print, as i don't participate. but online, unless looking, very little. but being discredited for sure as 'rapist' rapist' 'rapist'.

i'm sure nobody is allowed to report on the content of cables he released, simply the entertainment tv part of the story, and all forgotten.
